Bedroom Built-Ins

These were part of a Beverly Cove residential addition we worked on in mid/late 2024. A cathedral ceiling from downstairs rises up only ~24 inches behind this wall, limiting the floor space available below these units. However, it also means a ton of empty space left behind this wall that was prime for storage!

These built-ins are a smart utilization of that dead space. Situated between the bathroom and the “living” area of the room, they add a ton of practical storage to a transitional area of the space. Another single matching unit in the bathroom provides additional storage in lieu of a true bathroom closet.

Flat-panel inset doors complement the flat stock trim to complete the clean, airy look and allow the natural light coming in from six (six!!) skylights in this bedroom to be the real star of the show.
